Bruges Weather – When is best to visit the city ?
Being located in the North of Europe, Bruges weather is not as good as you would find in Southern Spain, Southern France and Italy. In
fact, there are possibly certain times of the year when it may well be advisable to avoid visiting the city at all.
Certainly if you are after a little sunshine then the ideal time to visit this city is between May and October. During these months, you
find that the temperatures get no higher than around 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius). But in August, they may certainly climb
slightly higher than this but not by much.
Although the weather is beautiful during the summer, months be warned that the chances of rain occurring during this time is high also.
So when visiting the city be prepared and bring an umbrella or raincoat with you.
In fact, what you will discover is that although January through to March is much colder, during these months less rain actually falls than
the months mentioned above. So you need to be prepared and bring warm clothing with you if you chose to visit this city during these
months.
However, although the temperatures during the autumn and winter months are lower than in the summer there is not a very large difference in
them. But with the autumn comes changes to the scenery, this will further help you to forget about the weather and enjoy what the city has
to offer so much more. Plus if you do find yourself getting a little chilled you can wander into the many bars and restaurants and find a
warming cup of coffee or hot chocolate to help remove it.
