Brussels Train
The Brussels trains that arrive in this city have two stations at which they will arrive at. The first station is the Brussels Midi
(Bruxelles Zuid) which is located on the southern side of the city. The second station is known as Brussels Central (Bruxelles Centraal)
which is found in the very heart of the city.
However, all the high speed trains including Eurostar arrive at Brussels Midi and then it is a short taxi ride or ride on the Metro to get into the
heart of the city itself. Yet if you want you can actually walk into the city from the station and this take on average about 10 to 15
minutes to complete.
As well as trains regularly arriving from London into Brussels there are also trains run by the Thalys, which connect with other major cities
through out Europe as well. If you wanted to you could be in Cologne, Germany in just over 2 hours 20 minutes or in Amsterdam in 2
hours.
Plus there are plenty of trains run by the Belgian National Railway service known as SNCB and NMBS that can take you anywhere you would like
to go in this beautiful country. For example, there are around five trains each day leaving Brussels that can take you to the city of
Antwerp and the journey itself only takes 45 minutes to complete. So if you want and have chosen to stay in Brussels over a long weekend
why not take time out to visit other places in this country at the same time.
