Brussels Attractions

There are numerous different types of Brussels attractions one can visit when on a visit to this beautiful and historic city.  Certainly, the best way of seeing everything that you possibly can is by spending a long weekend there.  If you want to take off the strain then catch thetrain from London to Brussels.  Eurostar will have you in the city in just over 2 hours.

The most famous attraction to be found in this city is the Manneken Pis.  This is the statue of a small boy who is located on the corner between Eikstraat and Stoofstraat close to where the Grand Palace is.  Sometimes you may find that the boy is wearing a costume and at this time rather than him peeing water he will pee beer instead.

Another major attraction to be found in this city between the months of April and September is the Music and Light Show.  This show uses classical music as a backdrop to the illumination of the buildings that surround the Grand Palace.  Each session of which there are two each night lasts about 15 minutes each and enables you to see the architecture with a completely different perspective.

Along with the two attractions, we have mentioned above there are plenty of others that the city of Brussels has to offer.  There is the Mini Europe Park, which contains miniature versions of major monuments from the various European member states.  Whilst at the Museum of Natural Sciences you will discover a good selection of dinosaur skeletons.
