Brussels Christmas Market

The Brussels Christmas Market is one of the most beautiful ones to be found in all of Europe.  It is located in the Grand Market, which is to be found at the very heart of this beautiful city. 

Each year the market contains stalls where traders from all over Europe bring their hand made goods to sell.  It is at these stalls you will be able to purchase a Christmas gift for a loved one that is completely unusual from what you would normally buy. 

But as well as gifts there are stalls selling items that, you can then use to decorate the Christmas tree at home.  However, not all your time needs to be spent wandering around the various stalls there are other things available for you to do whilst at the Christmas Market. 

During the time, that the market is installed there is also an artificial ice rink, a big wheel, which is illuminated at night and other fair ground attractions.  Plus there are plenty of street activities taking place so why not enjoy one of the puppet theaters that have been set up. 

The other big advantage to be gained from visiting the Brussels Christmas Market over the many others that are situated throughout Europe is that this one actually runs right up until New Years day.  So if you are looking for ways to brighten up your lives after all that has gone on over Christmas then why not book a short break to the city and enjoy the market then.
