Brussels Travel
There are many different Brussels travel options available to visitors of this beautiful but very under rated European city. Because the
center of the city itself is quite small you could actually get round it very easily just by walking.
However, the traffic levels are also quite high and very fast paced so you may find that after a while walking can be a little tiring.
Therefore, if you want to save your energy and get to see more of the city in the short time you are there then why not use the public transport
system instead.
There are a wide variety of different types of public transport available to you from the metro, to the trams to the buses. All these
services start running at six in the morning and go on to midnight. However, with the buses you will find that they do lay on an extra few
late night ones but these are very limited.
When it comes to paying for your journeys on these forms of transport, you either pay for a single journey known as a direct. The other
alternative is to buy a five ride ticket which although costs more allows you to travel that much further on the system. Both these kinds
of tickets you can buy directly from the driver of the tram, bus or metro that you board.
But there is a great ticket you can buy which will save you money and this is known as the one-day ticket. With this, you can travel on
all urban services throughout the day without being required to buy any future tickets.
