Eurostar Ski Train – Visit the French Alps This Weekend

From late December until late March, you can book yourself tickets on the Eurostar Ski Train.  This within only a matter of hours will have you in the heart of the French Alps and enjoying all the skiing facilities that this part of Europe has to offer.

When it comes to travelling on this particular Eurostar service, you can two choices that you can make.  You can take the overnight service, which departs from London on a Friday evening and arrives early on the Saturday morning.  The other option open to you is that you take the high-speed service during the day, which departs on the Saturday morning but arrives in the French Alps 7.5 hours later.

When travelling on this train it goes directly to three stations located in this area of France and so provides you with access to some of the best ski resorts to be found in Europe.  You can either go to Les Arcs, Val d'Isere, La Plagne as well as Tignes or Meribel ski resorts for your break. 

With the over, night train service provided by Eurostar the main benefit to be gained from this is that you actually gain an extra day's holiday.  Because you arrive early on Saturday morning by the afternoon, you can be out on the slopes enjoying some great skiing. 

So if you are at all interested in spending some time on the ski slopes of the French Alps then why not consider getting yourself tickets for the Eurostar Ski Train.  Expect to pay between £149 and £199 for a return journey ticket on this service, but the more you pay the more facilities are provided.
