Why Not Take the Eurostar to Amsterdam

Although currently there are no direct Eurostar to Amsterdam routes in place you can still use this train service if you so wish.  All you need to do is take the Eurostar to either Paris or Brussels and then hop on a train from their in order to reach Amsterdam.

When it comes to booking your tickets in order to travel to Amsterdam by train, you will not only need to book your Eurostar tickets.  But also, you will need to book tickets for the Thalys train service that will take you on to Amsterdam from Brussels or Paris.

The quickest and most effective way of booking all your tickets for this particular journey is by going online.  Ideally, if you know exactly dates you are wishing to visit then if you really want to get some great deals you need to book as much in advance of your travel dates as possible.

With Eurostar, you can actually start reserving tickets for your journey around 120 days (4 months) prior to the actual date.  Whilst with Thalys you have the opportunity to start reserving the tickets for your journey on to Amsterdam around 3 months (90 days) prior to the actual trip.

Although you will need to change trains when travelling on Eurostar to Amsterdam the actual time that the journey takes is less than 5 hours.  This is great if you are looking for a relaxing way to travel to this very vibrant and fun loving city.
