Weekend break by Eurostar does not just mean Paris. Today when considering taking a weekend break by Eurostar many people are now looking much further a field.  Instead of just traveling to Paris they are now venturing much further  with their weekend breaks.

Certainly Lille may be a very good option as it is only 1 hour 40 minutes from London by Eurostar and was the cultural capital of Europe in 2004.  Many people will soon be surprised at just what Lille can offer for a beautiful and relaxing weekend break.  It has designer shops down many of its cobbled streets.  It also has some of the finest paintings to be found in Europe held in the Musee de Beaux Arts as well as some of the most brilliant restaurants you could ever imagine.  Whilst if you are looking for something a little more colorful then you could do no worse than going to visit Les Heures Bleues.  It is an experience that you would not want to miss when visiting Lille.  This is where artists from around the world fill the streets and squares as they perform in parades, concerts and festivals throughout the whole weekend.  It truly is a sight to be seen.

So whether it is a quiet and romantic weekend in Paris you are after or somewhere that has a bit more life to it at nights such as Brussels or Lilles.  A weekend break by Eurostar may well be the best option for you.  Within just over 2.5 hours you could be in the heart of Paris or Brussels enjoying all the sights and sounds that these cities have to offer.
