Why not enjoy the scenery more and  travel to Paris by Eurostar. London to Paris Eurostar is now becoming more popular than ever with some great prices and the Eurostar high speed train.

Eurostar London to Paris is a service which directly connects the capitals of two major cities in Europe using trains.  The trains on this service depart from Waterloo Station, London, England and arrive at the Gare du Nord, Paris, France.  In order for the trains to get there they travel cross the English Channel through the Channel Tunnel or as it is more commonly known the "Chunnel".

The service has been operation since 2003 and has reduced the time it normally takes to get from London Waterloo to Paris and other destinations in Europe.  But just why going by Eurostar from London to Paris is such a good option these days?

The trip from London to Paris takes about 2 hours 35 minutes so if you got the early train from London you could be in Paris and sitting in some beautiful street cafe by breakfast.  But not only can you just go to Paris when traveling by Eurostar from London there are many places beyond in Europe that you can visit.

In some cases especially for Americans who are coming to Europe to visit the sights then Eurostar may be the more cost effective way of getting across from England to mainland Europe.  In many cases getting an International flight from anywhere in the States can often be cheaper than getting flights to Paris direct.  In some cases you may find that you can cut your travel costs quite considerably by flying into London and then getting on the Eurostar to take your Paris or the rest of mainland Europe.

But one of the great things about traveling on the train rather than going by air to Paris is that you get to see all the French countryside as you train quickly but efficiently makes it way to the heart of the capital of France.  For many people the chance of traveling in luxury and having the room to move around is an added bonus of going by train with Eurostar London to Paris.  So if you are considering taking your partner somewhere in the future for a great romantic break then you could do no better than getting the train from London to Paris.  You could leave on a Friday morning and come back on a Sunday evening and enjoy all that Paris has to offer in between.
