Eurostar Timetable – Changes Have Occurred
Since the move from Waterloo Station to St Pancras International Station in London there have been some changes made to the Eurostar
Timetable. In fact, since the move to the new facilities the average time it takes for the train to travel to the European continent has
been reduced by as much as 20 minutes ! The Eurostar time table is available online of course.
The move to the new station in London has meant that Eurostar are able to utilise the high speed 1 rail line which allows their trains to reach speeds up
to 186mph (just under 300kmph), and which is 50% faster than any other train service offered in the UK today.
Because the train is able to actually travel that bit more quickly so Eurostar as from February this year will be increase the number of
services that are leaving from London to Paris. Currently they only offer 15 train departures each day but this will increase by a further
two to 17.
But along with changes to the Eurostar timetable from London to Paris, there will be changes
with those trains heading to Brussels. During the week, you will now have the luxury of taking anyone of 10 different times to this
beautiful city and at weekends, they have increased the train departures up to eight.
As well as additional train services being provided on the new Eurostar timetable you will also discover that the there are trains leaving
much earlier in the morning as well. So those who need to make a business trip to Paris or Brussels can arrive before 9 am (their
time).
